About
About

My journey into programming began during the MySpace era, where I launched my first business designing custom layouts for bands and internet personalities. This early foray into coding sparked a deep curiosity about technology, and soon I was hooked on the art and science of software engineering.

A few years later, I founded Icewater, my own development agency, where we took on larger development and design projects, delivering high-quality solutions to a variety of clients. This experience helped me solidify my understanding of both the technical and business aspects of software development.

I pursued a formal education in computer science at Harvard, after initially focusing on marketing and advertising at Columbia Chicago. The blend of these fields has given me a unique perspective on how to build scalable tech that not only performs efficiently but also meets real-world customer needs.

With over 10 years of industry experience, I identified many common pain points that businesses face with technology management, which led to the creation of Command Center. This application now helps dozens of small businesses streamline their operations and manage their technology more efficiently.

I have a deep passion for scalable technology and take pride in contributing both code and leadership to help businesses grow, all while ensuring that users experience top-notch UI/UX. My drive to constantly improve and innovate keeps me excited about exploring new technologies, particularly in AI/ML.

Today, I live in Northwest Indiana with my wife and two German Shepherds. When I’m not programming, you’ll find me hiking with the dogs, powerlifting, playing the drums, or volunteering in the community. I’m passionate about staying active, learning new skills, and continuously sharpening my craft in both technology and leadership.
